With hearing all the problems in the world it makes one stop and take a look at their own community.
I go for many walks around my community and recently i've noticed a small park squeezed inbetween houses in a nicer area. Its small no plants save for some trees, graffiti everywhere, and the picnic tables have to be chained to trees so pple wont stack them on top of each other. I look at the houses around it and they're kept up nicely. If its a public park it makes me wonder why they dont do something about it, considering its their children that are playing there. I personally think that if everywhere focuses on their community first, that they some of the neglected areas will be fixed. Then work on other places as well. I'm not sure if it will work, but something has to be done. Its our children that are playing in this graffiti'd, neglected places. If we dont do something to show them what its like to be surrounded by plant filled parks and nature, how are they going to care for when they grow up and take over? Start small for a bigger plan. Anyone have any ideas or comment? I'm not sure if it would work everywhere, but does anyone see a way to better this idea or fix it?
