the aping of western culture by the urban youth

the modern youth has been so influenced by the overbearing western culture that he has completely forgotten his own culture and heritage.western culture obviously has it's own positive sides,especially it's liberal attitude but it does not mean that everything western is good and anything that is not is bad.we must embrace all the cultures but in the process we must not shun our own culture.if we are proud of our own culture,own language,own tradition,the world will be proud of us.i am proud to be born an indian,i am proud to be born a bengali,but perhaps i am most proud to be a human being,a citizen of this earth.
