nice ideas moos, at least not like the guy in the T.V who said he'll keep shopping 
ALahmedsh, it's intersting what happned in Britain, but i didnt say get the money by steeling it

I think you guys are over estimating how far 1 million dollars will get you.
Probably a nice house - and that is about it.
if you get it you should give a peice to charity - give what you have to to the government - and invest the rest sensibly.
Alot of people who win the lottery - talking 30 million$ - don't know how to handle the money and blow through it on crap - end up broke again.

sorry for that , but any way cotinuing ur education is a nice idea , but i'd rather to do it outside my country ,

first, 1 million dollar in the arab counitries is more then only 1 million.
2nd, i didnt mean with my qustion what you will do really with 1 million , it's just away to know the way of every one thinks.

interesting question Salma
well 1 million US bucks can be spent inmany ways. everyone his/her own taste/preferences/priorities etc.
But there are two general ways where the money can eb spent on: one being the personal(and family) goals , and the second one being idealistic(i would go for this one!) including things which might have nothing to do with personal goals or very little such as charity, investment in some NGOs which work hard to chnage this world, investnments in education etc.
Personally me i wouldnt be much materialistic and go buying real estate or other things. I would rather tackle(actually i m trying to put a NGO together- so i m nto just fantasizing here ) some global problems from their roots!! Up to everyone's imagination how that can be done!!

i will :
1- complete my Master and PHD dgree in Computer Engineering
2- Start my own company that is concered with Technology and Computer Engineering
3- build a wonderful,big house
4- Help other people as much as i can ...

ah there are so many things that need to be taken care of in this world that one million$ seems a paltry sum!....but having said that, i think anything is better than nothing...especially when you dont have anything but an IQ to use...
if i get one million $, i would like to start a residential school with all the amenities for the unfortunate children in the world. Children are the future and i feel investing in their future would offer the best returns ever possible!
I also want to go for further studies but i think i can manage that on my own .
As for worldly delights i never need anything too badly... i am always happy with what i have..
...though the world trip sound very very very tempting...
but for that i think i will take part in new series of "the Amazing Race" and get a free trip!
anybody upto it?

one million dollars in egypt means about 6 million egyptian pounds according to the direct quote of exchange rate between EP and $ from the egyptian perspective. And it means about 700000 sterlings. No doubt is a big number, that can let anyone complete his/her project or study....just to know...
