[Poll] Indonesia Education ssytem and global Terrorism

When Bali bombing taken place at 12 September, 2002. Most political elits realized that Indonesia had have terrorism cells including founder in ASEAN country.
I analysis that since colonial era, social values and tradition are pressured by his method by Devide at im Pera, it was political method of colonism which wanted to Indonesian should not be united for attack him. and until now being conflict management and popular of politicent strategies.
After the WTC tragedy in USA on 11 September, 2001. it have been international tragedy for human history. But, most our people that consider that our education system were strategic element of Terrorism in Indonesia.
I suggest this topic will be our hot topic to have respon from other friends, please ......

Wait up...i don't really understand the topic itself...but i'm extracting...that you mean the teaching methods and education system in indonesia influences terrorism.
I think...it depends. I wont say that religion is the biggest impact of the belief that terrorist regime is placed in Indonesia, but i do say that it gives some impact. For example, in Islamic school, for sure you all would teach the students how some Islamic famous figure is right in its religious way. The fact is, this terror has almost nothing to do with religion. It's about fighting against the totalitarian regime Saddam has practiced in his country by letting his citizens live in incredibly miserable lives.
Education shouldnt be done for any purpose involving terrorism. Indonesia , yes, i think in some part, does that. I remember when i was in my Junior high in Indonesia, my moral education teacher was really anti-america that he would give zero to anyone who wrote the essay supporting american system. Some teachers, yes, i admit, that they couldnt be objective and see something through others' prespective but they keep judging current affairs with their own beliefs, and that is why, may results in the changing of uni or school students' prespective about terrorism.
it's not about value or anything, but see something clearly from social, economic, and political aspects of the terrorism. If terrorism is being done, then it must have been something unsatisfactory of a country that is being attacked, or deliberately being attacked. Those causes, might be, yes, i admit, Indonesian education.
even they say value, pride, and anything like that is being taught in indonesia, but remember that religioous education played big role in Indonesia....
pls weighting something really wisely, see it from others' prespective, before judging something you people.

Education is most 'values' then 'Method' and 'Technic'

However, If we discussed about national education, it is a system how education is prepared and implemented by goverment who controled by the 'power', and Since 32 years later, the Soeharto regime,which it was coalition between 'Fundamental moslem 'Muhammadiyah' and Catholic power to manage the all policies including national education system, but, in majority of Moslem power is stronger then Catholic to proposed national education in Indonesia. So, Muhammadiyah have been dominant for national education implementation. This is the begining to analyses the political mapping of Islam,and anti-America, today terrorism in Indonesia
I'm telling you that my personal background in Youth movement, Student movement in Indonesia since 1993 to 2000. The understanding of Indonesia's political mapping, so, the most responsible for the education and terrorism Indonesia is Soeharto regimes and its power's alliences. Such as Muhammadiyah organization and althought it might be the reason US had also involved to support 'Soehato regime' in political reason....
Furthermore, Today, I have research about some education institution which cooperated and sopported by personal and charity organizations that assummed have relationship with terrorist organization, that why education is not just teaching student, then they graduated, but.. there is most important thing that how they see the images of the world today, and the world to come
Then, What do you think?, if there is school and education institution directly or indircetly teach the students they should not respect or Anti America, Israel, or Chiness peoples who have been minority in Indonesia. You remembered in 1998' riot that most Chiness people got un-tolerance violence. So, this one of education concept' result in middle of our communities(IWDW)
