Your Favorite place and Why?

I hate to see messy Restrooms because my restroom is my favorite place in my house. I love to read in there, think in there, meditate in there and answer calls without distractions in there as well. I was just wondering if this is a strange habit or are there people out there who feeland do the same thing.I have noticed that people tend to leave you alone when you are in there. So it is a good place to have a "Me Time"
Please go ahead and tell me your favorite spot in your house and why?

Restroom is a fine place, indeed, to think, for me too
its where you are left alone and sometimes I sometimes intentionally go to the restroom in university just to gather up my ideas and think of what I am going to do during the day/week ahead of me!
I also read there sometimes!
P.S. Music band Garbage's most famous song - I think I am Paranoid - was written down in the restroom

Woh, thanks mnopq for the info, never heard that before. I don't know about public restrooms because they are always messy especially the girls' restrooms (sorry girls but it is true). I usually can't wait to get out of public restrooms.

YESSSSSSSS! EIGWE
you are so right!!!
In most places in mumbai, to use a restroom to gather one's thoughts would seem to be a rather desperate action. Most people here can only "think" of getting out before they get in! ;-)
i won't be surprised if the band 'Garbage' actually wrote that song 'I think I am paranoid' in one of the public restrooms in India!;-)
well! Hayk you must be really lucky to be able to have a good restroom in your university. here we have to start campaigns and marches to get clean restrooms.
The situation is really improving nowadays with the emergence of a strong student body in the university.
Lets hope for the better!
Personally I agree with Eigwe that one's own restroom seems to be the ideal place to 'think'.Don't know why but great ideas for assignments and projects, poetry etc, hits me when i am in there! Though i prefer to do reading in my own bedroom.its the most comfortable place on earth for me.
:-)

Hey Anu, Eigwe !
Actually back in Armenia toilettes I guess can compete with those in India in not cleanness. Even in the State university where i did my undergraduate studies it was not possible to go to science department toilettes, was just not supportable...
Yes, Switzerland, at least in this, has a attained a certain level of development!
Cheers,
H.

All of my classes are in the engineering department, but we always go down to the postgraduate law school department to use their restrooms which are much, much nicer...apparently lawyers are more important than engineering students ...lol

I want to write about the most favorite place of the world for me - it is my city. Because I was born here . And here my dearest people and friends live. I enjoy walking along the streets of my city where wide crowns of tall trees make a kind of green arch.
I like traveling in other cities and countries , visiting new places and meeting new people but I always want to return to my city and share new expressions with those who are waiting for me.
My nice city is Ferghana, in Uzbekistan.

What about my house - my favorite room is my room where I can work alone, concentrate on my homework and have a good rest. Nobody bothers me there. It’s the only place in the house where I can do my favorite job – to have a rest.

Heyyy ppl.
Well my fave place to be is outside I guess. I love to sit outside and think about the day... and life in general. I just get such a great feeling and feel refreshed and it's where all my ideas come from for my art work. I love to paint and work on my art outside.
Peace out,
Sara

Hey anu I completely agree with u as far as restrooms in india go. People dont even bother to keep them clean but when it comes to ur own private restroom im sure we all like it tidy.
Its not at all strange that a lota ppl like to sit there and think or gather their thoughts. You are completely on ur own and u get that "Me time" for urself which i believe is very very imp sometimes.
Besides that, i think another place where u can clear ur mind is in the vicinity of nature. It just refreshes you and has a soothing effect.

Well, to have rest outdoors is great, but not every person have an opportunity to chill out outdoors. For instance if you live in a big city where you can breath only some gaz outdoors. And going to forests or mountains with clean air is very expensive for them. That's a problem.
