i heard about this theory called:
"The Golden arches theory for world peace"
which basically says amoung other things that countries with Mcdonald's are less likely to go to war. It explains that countries whom trade and support multi-national corporations are less likely to engage in conflict for the sake of economy.
Is this true? If so why has it taken so long to figure out?
Any further explaination of the theory would also be appreciated.
