Introducing TEP. Local Reps invited at www.tekdi.com

Tekdi Eco Portal (TEP) is a global eco community with discussions and news on everything related to Environment right from Sustainablity, Nature Watching etc to the latest cutting edge eco technologies.
TEP serves as a platform for various like minded individuals & organisations to collaborate on various issues & projects. TEP has many great features inbuilt to help this information exchange.
We hope to enlist members from all over the world to enlist in starting local "Tekdi Clubs" all over & helping expand the network of 'Eco Alert"Citizens of the World.
We have successfully proven the power of Information exchange at TEP recently when an issue taken up by TEP (regarding the dereservation of the Hills of the City of Pune (India) from Biodiversity Forest Zones to Residential ones was proposed.) was completed successfully. Over 20000 emails regarding this issue went back & forth between people concerned for this issue & and even more online protests were recieved. The devastrating idea was finally shelved & a New Plan in which Pune will have its Hills converted to Biodiversity Parks funded partly by Carbon trading has been proposed.
Do join us at www.tekdi.com
We are also thinking of starting regional (country wise) Eco Portals managed by the locals under tekdi.com . Interested people should contact us at ecoportal@tekdi.org
Comments would be appreciated

hey Parth,
i got on the site and yesterday even posted an introductory message! seems quite cool the site you put together, so many features and everything, i still need time to figure out what is where..
but tell me one thing: did you read the message originally posted by Jax about animal cruelty??
if no read it below
http://www.takingitglobal.org/connections/discuss/showthread.html?s=&threadid=12839
and let us know if you know anything of this issue..
And I ADVICE everyone to go and get to the Parth's site! looks very attractive with loads of info on nature related issues!
cheers,
Hayk

hey people!
i would encourage all TIGers with somespare time to join in efforts of making TEP really global! We dont have many sites like that on Internet and this one has a real potential to become the global focal point where everything from environmental issues to trekking routes can and will be discussed!
so join everyone! there are some TIGers who are already there! we need more internationals to join, promote, contribute and eventually distinguish themselves by doing real things!
ok, enough of pitching from my side guess you all got the point!
Cheers,
H.
