Lack of discussion

I find myself unsubscribing from all my threads for the simple reason that most new posts make it obvious that the rest of the discussion had not been read.
It's the equivalent of people hopping into your booth at the pub, shouting their opinion, and leaving without participating in the rest.
I'm guessing its because of the lower age of most forum users here? I've seen stickies for encouraging users to actually read all replies before posting one of their own.

I do, actually. As do many people I know from other forums. It bars unnecessary repetition, and is better at actually getting more viewpoints across.
Don't you expect people to listen when you speak?

Totally agree with you, it is very frustrating when you open a discussion thread to read a reply that has nothing to do with the conclusion of the actual thread. But unfortunatelly nothing can be done. For one you can't judge what someone says in a specific thread. Everyone is entitled to write whatever. Is it annoying and disrespectfull? Yes. That is a part of the world though. Of course you would like to be heard in life when you speak but are you really? From everyone around you? I don't think so. Even in our live interaction sometimes people ignore what we say and say something else. Just have to accept it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A website with a great Tennis Forum and many

Its really frustrating for the member if no body is showing interest on his thread but by making thread more catchy and alluring, it can be made possible to have people there on the thread and make the conversation lively.
