First of all I completely agree that Sri Lanka deserves our attention as well. Seriously, in the scale of complexities, this might be one of the most solvable conflicts in the world. I don't mean that disrespectfully to the families of the people that have died or anything, I just mean that saying that it's a civil war. Not international. There are not the complexities that come from international conflicts.
We just need to make Sri Lanka the center of the world's attention for basically a couple months, get a peace treaty and a plan of action in place, and then things can really start to move forward, and not move backwards as you guys have stated it has been for the past ten years.
This is a war that's lasted way too long. And Sri Lanka is such a beautiful place, I had the honour to visit it at the Millenium. Wow!
