Omar this research y did it in e-marketing right ...so be honest man...also froot i wish if you will go through the internet and looking you will find many things:
as:
SWOT ANALYSIS
The effect of culture in marketing.
Strategic marketing
International marketing
All of those available.

There's also a growing body or research/interest around "Marketing to children and youth". You could write about how it is different than marketing to adults and/or about the ethics of marketing to children.

Froot, have u decided on the topic that u choose yet?
If i were u, i would prefer to choose something that differentiates from other topics, meaning outstanding one.
Of course you should have interest on that. Maybe e-commerce, how to marketing online, because it's still emerging industry in world's market.
But first of all, why do you do research? For ur understanding? or you wanna create something new ?
