well i did read your message and i think i would really like to help you in whatever way i can because the condition of hiv patient in nepal(asia) and africa is similar. we need to help these people.we need to eradicate the social taboo rather than helping them finiancially coz' if we are successful in eradicating the social illussions of people about hiv then i think the financial help would automatically come.s i'm really interested in helping you out.

Here are some hints for the effective implementation of HIV/AIDS awareness programmes, the technique is called to bring change in behavior through peer educators;
Identify the high risk groups (the people who are more vulnerable to HIV infection) i.e. female sex workers, male sex workers, migrants, injection drug users etc.
Identify the areas of the target group you want to work in future.
Conduct pre-survey to estimate the HIV/AIDS infection information and identify the risky behaviors in the targeted group.
During the survey identify some peer educators, who will work for your project in the same area. The peer educator should belong to the same societal group especially based on age, level of education or status.
Design manuals, booklets etc with the consultation of peer educator, coz he is better knows the level of education of the target group.
Educate the peer educators and send them to the targeted field.
Conduct post-survey you will see the impacts of the project.

Logan-
I have substantial experience on how to implement H/A educational programs and I am interested in hearing more about your project. In other words, I'd like to help.

Everyone should look at www.sexetc.org...it is a website that gives true and informative sex education from teens and it's for teens. People should know that talking about sex and educating about it is not taboo...it is something we need to do!!
