World Youth Empowerment Organization (W.Y.E.O) is

This Conference is a segmental event which will take

Netherlands (EUROPE) conference sections will include
an array of educational debate that will give
opportunities to participants to share their views and

Participants will only take care of their accomodation

Hello all,
This is fake because such mails are specifically targeted at people who do things that are related to youth projects or work with a non governmental organisation.
1. Do you know who sent you the mail. Have you met before. Can you identify the prson in any youth network. have you heard about the organisation's name before. Do you know someone who has benefitted from their training before.
2. In 2002/2003, a similar mail made the rounds, this time it was the USA and Kenya, and the content of the mail have the same framework...though different wordings.
Please beware, it is scam.

We have recieved invitation to attend the CONFERENCE ON RACISM AND ABUSE by World Youth Empowerment Organization (W.Y.E.O).
Someone (ID- Rotexonline) said that the conference is fake, or organisers are with ill motive.
Can TIG or any other moderator say us the real position.

Thank you for your message.
I also tried to get something about the World Youths Empowerment Organisation in google and also to Yahoo. But failed to get anything a lot.
I have sent a mail to the RAI asking details whether the WYEO booked any room for conference. I am yet to get any reply.
I don’t know why the organisers made it mandatory that the participants have to make the hotel reservation with the two specific hotels. When I proposed that I would like to live with my friends in Amsterdam, the Secretary said there is no way to live in another place instead of the two hotels.
Do they plan to cheat the participants by escaping with the money people send to reserve the hotels? Or why do they make the hotel reservation mandatory?
As the organisation is not a big one, how come they can bear all the expenses of the participants like – air ticket, accommodation in USA?
Can you carry out more investigation about the motive of the organisation and report it to the US authority?

Hello all,
Like i said in my earlier piece, the conference is SCAM.
In 2003, it was the United States and Kenya, if i go through my box, i should till be able to retrieve the mail...It is the same style as the one you posted on this dialogue box, it is entirely scam.
1. The offer is too juicy. If it is real, then such conferences would be widely and keenly contested and would go to organisations and groups baed on merit, not on some phoney selection criteria
2. WHY WOULD THEY insist on you paying for hotels in Netherlands before they can accredit you for the program.
3. You can always send such enquiries to the United States embassy or diplomatic presence in your countries for further clarifications.
4. I know organisations that have been duped using this same style so beware.
Thanks for clarifiying and the investigative work done on this.

We called the RAI, the main congress centre in Amsterdam and the venue for conference. They don’t have World youth empowerment organisation in their data base and no booking of any sort for the mentioned conference dates. Same for Amsterdam congress bureau.The congress centre in Amsterdam is a rather prestigious and reliable organisation. It is the only one at the address ‘europaplen’
No proper telephone number.We called the USA number and got a answering machine but NO name of organisation.
If I google world youth empowerment organisation I do get only a few hits. If it is such a big organisation and are organising confernece on such a big scale how cum they don't appear in Google or any other search engine. In their website they say they are affiliated with some of the US organisations. When I go to these US organisations websites, no where can I find WYEO's name.
Till now we used to get instant reply from the secretary, and the moment we asked for explanation regarding above mentioned facts, got no reply from her.
I am not 100% sure, but sumthing is mysterious about this Organisation.
Our group has dropped the idea of going for this conference. All I can say is, please investigate thoroughly before you make any decision.

Guess what...more proof...this organisation is big time FRAUD!!
I had emailed US Embassy in Mumbai asking more about this organisation, got a reply saying they have no information about this organisation.
They are not planning but doing it....their aim is to escape with money people send to book the hotel...and no way are we gonna let that happen...What say?

We do not need TakingITGlobal to tell us that this letter is fraud. We naturally have the spirit that tells the truth and the lies. This one is one of those mails. That i see in my box. Go to www.whois.com and see the fraud website that do not exist in the search engines.
Make the best use of your brains.
