Cultural Diverstiy and Equity

Just went through the discussion board on cultural issues. I being an African coming from a strong rooted tribe that really treasures culture would say that as far as i have viewed the many problems that crop up nowadays many would have been solved or even not there if we followed and appreciated our cultures for they had rich simple rules that were not complicated at all.
Culture is the most important thing in that, it describes ones origin in many ways from type of diet to behaviour, if i may say it would be best if we preserve our cultures in one way of the other, I ain't saying that all are good, putting in mind that others are out dated lets find ways of improving them to fit the current regime and situations instead of removing and viewing them as usesless. Put in mind that our fore fathers who dileberated on them knew very well why they initiated them.
Currently we are faced with alot of challenge on ways of merging our cultures, As from my point of view i think we should not do that for we would eventually cause a confusion to the up coming generations but maintain our cultures at every point so that we have diverse cultures with diverse ideas " just as it was long time ago".
Lastly while on this topic, back hme as i seat with my fellow youths i usually ask them that would ther be a difference mostly reduction of HIV/AIDS infection if we all reverted back to our cultures?????????
