AIDS is caused by Human
Immunodefficiency
Virus
which destroys the immune system of the body. After the progression of the virus, symptomps of Acquired
Immune
Defficiency
Syndrome would be visible
DO YOU KNOW?
1) 1 person dies due to AIDS somewhere in the world in every 10 seconds.
2) Nearly, 12,000 get HIV infected within a day.
* (But this is the easiest disease in the world to prevent from).
SINCE 1981
* 60 million got infected
* 20 million died
* 33.2 million are living with AIDS (reported)
IMPORTANT
HIV doesn't get transmitted by
* Touching * Kissing * Sneezing
* Through insect bites or
* by sharing utensils
So, I prefer if we stop cornering those who are living with HIV/AIDS and start taking care of them.
