To TIG staff,
You guys are doing an awesome job.
I do have a suggestion concerning the messaging system on My TIG page. It would be cool if we can have a special sound come up when we receive a message on our message board.
That is an indicator telling us that we have a new message, other that the blinking envelope.
Thank you again, keep up the good work.

I'm not sure exactly how we would impliment a sound without it happening more than once. I often do not have time at the exact moment when someone sends me a message to reply, so it would sound everytime you would load a page, which would personally make me crazy 
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to impliment this, we're all ears!

I don't know anything about programming, but in Gmail now (with Gmail chat), when somebody messages you, the tab (in Firefox... the page "title" in IE) flashes... this might be better than the sound, which would be annoying and potentially embarrassing depending on where you are.

Hey guys,
We are going to implement a few improvements to the TIG IM system in the upcoming weeks. A few known issues will be solved (unblocking a person, view sent messages, etc); as well as a some new improvements that I have to keep  about.
So, check back in a few weeks.

Hellooooz everyone,
I've a suggestion for the TIG messaging system ...
why don't u enable TIG messenger alerts via email ???
I mean a notification email that will be sent out whenever a member receives a message thru his/her TIG messenger.
& I've noticed this new notification emails u get when someone adds u as a friend on TIG.
& for the sound alert when u get a msg ... mmmmmm ... I guess that it would be a noisy feature on the TIG website
so I don't recommend that we use sound notifications on TIG
one other suggestion for the TIG messenger is to have an archive for the sent messages - an old feature for the TIG messenger till TIG V5 took over
I guess it'd be kool if u've a list of ur sent-out messages
