Most of the video clips related to Arabic Pop songs, have become really sexually suggestive. More or less, we have caught up in the Arab world, with the notion that the music business is a sexy business. Yet, sex remains a taboo subject in our so called conservative societies???

Hamzah,
The video clip songs in the Arab world tend to remove the last moral shield from the hearts of the youth. Unfortunately, there is no way to combat the moral decay in these songs but to educate the youth of the damages that such songs could inflict on the society.

That wave has started in the United States long time a go; they call it "freedom". Anyway when it comes to those video clips, or the comedy series, those started in the early nineties, after the gulf war, people where starting to feel the effect of what G.W. Bush the father is doing in Iraq, so the only way the government can take the peoples mind the war. So the partnership between the government and Hollywood began, and so FRIENDS was born and so on.
About the Arabic video clips, I do agree, this is becoming discusting, singers half naked, teaching our sisters and daughters what to do, and what to ware. The reason our governments are not stopping them, is the exact same reason they were invented for in the first place.

video clips What a major problem nowadays ,Amjad what really matters is that this disease about the video clips have increased in the arabian countries and between the arabian youth so much that it has become an ordinary subject to talk about and another problem is that the quality of these video clips!!!!!!! it's like they are racing specially female singers on who's going to wear less clothes or let me be more obvious and realistic WHO'S not going to wear clothes and which one will include more dancing and not just any way of dancing !!All i can say is that may God be with you guys and give you the strenght to not be touched by these things

commands of Allah need to obeyed and for those obeying the commands it important to stay away from consuming products that violate the commands of Allah. Videos with explicit sexual content and call for adultery are such products. Promotion of prayer 5 times a day is needed. It is important to be a helper to Allah than becoming a friend of Satan. Indeed following the insinuations of Satan and his cohorts will result in temporal and eternal losses for all.

I don't think the arabic videos only...it s a global wave 
i think (beyond the sexuality and business issue and lap lap map)
they are trying to be diaphanous as could as possible, in order to clear the meaning of their words and express them silves and feelings in the most touching way... that's all
(oh...we treate the meaning of love ..so badly 8-| yallah )

Guys,
Are we missing other important problems in the Arab world other than Video Clips ?
Yes, we are...it's the problem of people themselves:
Just ask yourselves one question:
Would erotic Video Clips -as a tiny example of many wrong things that happen aroud us in the Arab world-, have ever made that whole success if people just -boycotted- them ?
We should reform ourselves, and the society arounds us...that's where to begin.

this is a very important topic , actually these clips are some sort of pornography . As young people , we should really abstain from watching these clips and at least delete channels like Melody in Ramadan as a first step. If we stop watching , they producers will be forced to search for quality and not quantity ,or lack of quantity ,in the clothes of the female singers.

Where do i start?
Aim of video clip: so-called-entertain ppl,distract ppl from politics,life,having an aim,being useful...etc.
hidden msg is: teach youth that there isnt morals anymore, judge other by appearance therefore becoming superficial & teach ppl that by wearing less clothes u r practicing yr freedom,yea right!
Personally i call upon feminists to have a say in this,how degrading is it for a woman to accept being treated as a sex objects?what pisses me off is that these women, be it singers or dancers, compete in that field thinking that its cool,stylish,civilzed,freedom...etc.
Well i gotta look at the bright side i know many people esp males who are repulsed & disgusted by what they see in video clips,so there is a big percent who arent for these video clips.
"Zoya"Ramdan is a spiritual thing & these channels may be a challenge for ppl who are regular audiences,its either GOD or video clips!

Romaica beleives there are people who produce these videoclips to distract anybody from politics. sorry, but thats nonsense! there is only one reason to produce such expensive High_End_Videos attracting people and this Money. the producers want to get rich and everybody whos working for them want to survive from the money they earn. WE LIVE IN CAPITALISM. thats not devilish! thats exploitation and oppression of live. so start to live in solidarity instead of complaining about immorality. dont watch it if you dont like it. by the way: i dont like it, neither. because it spreading the idea that women are just objects men can use and abuse whenever they like. thats a matter of respect, not of morality ...

they wan to make money out of video clips -true, but they know they'll make money out of them because lots of people have an -immoral- side, and will spend hours and hours watching those those video clips. They're simply encouraging immoral tempatations of young people, whether do they intend it or not.

I dont think thats nonsense Fuchs, cuz part of that industry apart from money is to make ppl distracted. Tell me if someone does nothing in life except watch video clips do u think he'd have to time to watch news, read newspapers, stop & take a look around him? i really dont think so.
Tv makes ppl stupid cuz all they do is receive & i dont think there is anything educational in watching video clips unless yr profession is pornography!!
Its a game invovling money,sex and immorality. Some play this game others dont.
Which side r u on thats the question.
