HIV/AIDS

Can you believe this ? .Are you suprised? Better dont .You see most times when i get things like this i decided to share them out for proper understanding.

I know alot of you going through this post would equally be suprise.

Do we say the NGOs are not working well ? or better still can we say there is any love or right to leave alive .Just as a man cannot hugs his shadow you cant beat the determination of this experts andf NGOS who are concerned with the betterment of Africa.

The Big question now is this "IS AIDS/HIV TRULY NOT REAL .
For many people in Africa AIDS means American's weapon of mass distruction ,Not osama ! Not Sadam Hussien ,Nor any other terrorist thus the spread Education for the Staffs .Do you think so ?

But if not have you ever wondered why the UN spends so much money in africa on HIV/AIDS that any other vices Like industrialization.I doubt if you all know that fornication are brothers to the ideal mind .

Poverty alone is madness ,it limits you from the scope of your reasoning .How then are this related ?

Every year a Large number of Funds is given to Non-governmental organizations in Nigeria to carry out project which statistical presentation shows that the capital of Hiv/AIDS is exhobitant.

Now is we are saying that Sex /Fornications/Rape and poor access to information is as a result of idolness ,doing nothing.

It would only remain proper that we come out first to strategically re-arrange procedures to the eradication of this deadly vices .We have to put the Youths and people in the right frame of Mind and engage their services so that they could have little or no time for jokes and parting and engage their services thus building dynamic leader .Quick access to information on HIV is difficult.

In OPI in Enugu state Local Govt ,they are some tick villages that do not have light and the resident have never seen light there since their birth and this people are dying even as it is right now they dont know what happens around the Globe .
For them Media ,TV adverts are not their business and thus the information passed across to them .Lets reason with Season!

Like i said AIDS IS NOT REAL BECAUSE THE PEOPLE FINGHTING THE COURSE HAS REFUSED TO BE REAL.Its almost like a power hussling ,only in abuja the capital territory of Nigeria has more than 150 NGO operating there with their offices in Abuja forgetting that they are needed at the areas in the north and south-south and east leaving the children to suffer and Die .

If this people come and open their mouth to say to anyone HIV/AIDS IS REAL THEN WHERE WILL THE BELIEVE BE?

Comment as it will help in my visibility study.

Thanks

HIV/AIDS is real and an extremely serious issue.

It has killed more than 20 million people and 40 million more may die within the next 5 years. It can effect everyone, regardless of beliefs or attitudes, race or religion, gender or nationality.

Although there exist some interesting theories on the origin of HIV, only a few have remained onboard the argument that HIV/AIDS is not real. The biology of the virus is at a point where it is truly undeniable. I wonder if our friend above is speaking about the social implications or somethng else ... could you maybe elaborate for us.

Thank you,
Logan.

I agree with loganc. Our biological understanding of HIV/AIDS has come to the point where the evidence cannot be denied. Rather than list out the reasons why though, I'll refer people who're curious about this to AVERT's page, which does a thorough job of examining the arguments on both sides.

I don't think that is the point which the OP is raising though, yet I'm not sure what he is saying. I think he's claiming that by focusing efforts solely on treating HIV/AIDS, NGOs are ignoring the variety of social ills in Africa that breed the conditions that encourage the proliferation of AIDS to begin with, such as unemployment. Given my limited experience with NGOs and so forth, I cannot comment on this.

The point is that HIV/AIDS has given the so called super powers the focal point to rally round, in a desperate bid to show that they actually care for the under privileged i.e Africans.
The case of HIV is very much similar to OIL. There are so many alternatives to oil that are more efficient, more environmentally friendly, cheaper and more affordable by the developing nations. But NO, the developed super powers would not want to hear it. Reason, because it will deny them the right to be the INTERNATIONAL POLICE!
Same thing as HIV. There are so many problems in my mind that deserve more attention, financial resources and research than HIV. What are they? poverty, Malaria, environmental degadation, wars and conflicts that kill Africans in thousands and are still in force. If the western nations were to play their roles to fund the researches that would bring an end to these problems, it would mean heavy investments that are capital intensive. So, what do they do?
They over publicize HIV infection to the point where the whole world now believes that an end to HIV means an end to African problems. To drive their points home, they politicized it to the point where all countries that are considered developed must donate something to solve it. Any country that does not show sympathy to HIV ravaged nations is considered cruel.
So, the much publicized HIV politics is a deliberate divertionary tactic of the west, who would want us to believe that they care, while continually milking us of our natural endowments.
As africans, we can do little but live with the politics otherwise we have to stand up to launch a counter campaign to show the world that our problems do not revolve arround HIV.
If not, then why is it that in the countries in Africa where the figures of HIV were said to have come down significantly, why is poverty still very rampant, mosquitoes still killing babies with malaria?
I like the MDGs, at least they were honest enough to say that their TARGET NUMBER 1 IS TO HALF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE LEAVING ON BELOW $1 PER DAY FROM 1998 TO 2015, even though the target seems unrealistic. Isnt that an admission to the fact that our problems principally begins with poverty?? You tell me!
