When watching the video "If the World Were a Village" i was able say that I am grateful for everything that I have. There are many people out in this world that have nothing and the video had made a valid point. It had stated that "If you have a roof over your a head, a bed, a dresser, and a closest then you are considered 75% richer then other people". This is what I had learned while watching this video and that is one reason as to why I am grateful and blessed for everything that I have.

This video made me realize how good of a life I have. It really opened my eyes and made me notice how grateful I should be for everything I have. I saw how I have a lot more advantages and priviliges over these people who have nothing in this world. This video taught a good lesson to appreciate what you have.

All of these statistics are really interesting to learn. You don't really think about this kind of information, and then you see it and you say "Wow, I had no idea that that was true." It is all a matter of what perspective people look at. If a person was open to new ideas, they might look at these stats and want to help, as opposed to a person who would see these stats and not care about anybody else, only about themselves.

Realizing how much different our world would be if we had only 100 people made me become more grateful for what I have now. I see how i am lucky to have a bed to sleep in and a roof over my head every night. Many people in the world aren't as lucky as I am and i see that now after watching the video. It was really eye opening. This is how i feel about the 100 person world.

This is a quite shocking video in my opinion, for instance i did not know that if the world was only 100 people 53 of them would have to live on less that $2.0 0 and because I am Catholic there would be 32 others who shared my belief. This video is also very sad because if you do not see yourself as a wealthy there is people in some places of the world that have to live on close to nothing, It makes you appreciate what you have because some people wished they were in your situation. It also showed me that some statics when related to a smaller number are very shocking like if there was only 100 people 6 of them would own 59% of the community. Those are some shocking things.

This video was really mind blowing. iIt was wierd to see that theyre would only be 61 Asians, eight Europeans, 13 Africans & so on. Its an eye opener that we could tell this much about how the world would be with 100 people, just off statistics. The world would be comletely different with less people & lss computer/internet connection. It was wierd t know that out the 100 people only 18 would be islamic/muslim because muslim relgion is one of the biggest in the world. I feel blessed because a lot of people dont have even the privilage of learning, reading and writing. So many people stuggle in the world with no money, food or even clean water. This video was definelty something that opened my eyes to different perspectives. shocked

So i think the video was very attention grabbing. te proportionate people ratios that if everyone in the world was minimized to only 100 people, the numbers now really have an impact on the way you think about the world population. Some numbers are astronomical. that fact there are 61 asians out of 100 people. Thats 61% percent essentially. It makes me feel blessed that i have my comfortable state of life, but at the same time i feel really bad for the sad statistics. The statistic that 13 people were hungry and 14 makes you wonder what's going on in the rest of the world today.

This video was interesting because if the world was filled with 100 people there were still different races, different religions, and different classes. There were some rich people and some poor people. I find it interesting because it narrowed the world down to only a 100 people. http://www.takingitglobal.org/images/connections/db/emotes/tongue.gif

This video made me thankful for what I had after I saw the statistics of the world into 100 people I was suprised by the numbers of it too like how only 1 person out of a 100 people would have internet connection. Also the video gave me a diffrent perspectives of the world and challenges that we face. Also what the population would be if theres was only a village and 100 people in the world.

this video was depressing because if the world were a village many people would be starving and some will have hiv and 75% of people will have no homes and will be poor. It is a good thing our world is not a village because most of us have a normal life and enjoy living in our world

The video 100 person village really opened my eyes on life and its needs. It tells that we have all we need meanwhile people in other countries are living on 2 american dollars a day. Some people today are very selfish and they want everything they can't get. This video also taught me about the worlds statistics and explained the importance of people working together. cool

I think we are very fortunate to have all these things that man people do not. After seeing the breakdown of all these statistics in the world, I see that we (the middle class) are actually a very small percentage of the world.

After watching the video 100 person world I saw the world how it really is. The statistics that told me about how people's life really was made me think. I started to think about how many people in the world are homeless, starving and trying to survive on $1 or $2 a day. Also 14 people wouldn't be able to read. This was so shocking because everyone that I know has the opportunity to be educated. This video made me see how lucky I am to be able to have so many opportunities in life.

I thought this video was very surprising. Imagine the world was really a village? After seeing this video I am very greatful for what I have because it is very sad to see how some other people live.

I agree. Watching this video definitely made me realize how lucky I am and how much I have that many other people may not. Something as small as having a closet or having the ability to read can be something someone in the word wants to do more then anything.
