problems with project site

i'm having some problems with my project site http://projects.takingitglobal.org/ice .
two people tried to join the project but didnt succeed. (i trust they have taken the right steps). or maybe i just cant find the place where i approve their membership?
also, where's the project's discussion board gone, and why does it not work to attach a group to the project? and why does it tell me now that the categories (of what the project is about) have to be limited to three? in our case, thats a bit hard..
even in the old version of tig, our project never used to come up under project search, and that's still the same under the new system.
can you fix it? ..please? i'd be very thankful.
cheers, nicea.

also, you cannot create a TIG discussion board with a Project at the moment, it says there is a problem with the database.
Thanks!

Hi,
I didn't see their names in the list of pending members. How did they try to join? Via the online form?
The discussion board will be back soon. We had to make some modifications to it across the site but it will be ready by the end of the week. The reason we limited the number of categories to three is because people were abusing the system so that their project would get unfair promotion. We found that TIG is able to (generally) classify itself into three categories. Although we could maybe belong in all categories, we very much fit within three quite well.
Projects are being reviewed and approved as we speak. We have a huge backlog (more than 700) so we're a little behind. This is why it does not show up in search presently. Hopefully this will be cleared by the end of next week.
To associate a group (that you are a creator or leader of) you can go here: http://projects.takingitglobal.org/v4test/settings/#related
From there the groups dropdown allows you to add whichever group you wish.
Hope this helps!
Hugh
