School prayer, support or oppose~

For the last several years, my school graduation ceremony has included a prayer. In a substantive paragraph, discuss to what extent you support (or oppose) having a prayer be part of this campus event.
I would support having a prayer during the graduation ceremony not because I am a religious person but because I think that having a prayer is not a harmful act to anyone. I am not sure what kind of prayers were conducted during the ceremony but if the students only pray for the sake of conforming or without questioning the value of praying, I believe that praying then will be a waste of effort and time. In other words, action expresses priorities, not prayers. Besides that, as Gandhi had stated, “In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart.” Simply stated, one humane and sympathetic prayer is worth more than a million of deceptive prayers. Nevertheless, I will support the whole prayer idea given the fact that praying is not a harmful act, might only be a waste of time.
Tell me what you think. Feedbacks are encourage.
peace~

This is true as Gandhi had stated, “In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart.”
may be a prayer of young kid from his heart can help saving this poor world
prayer wth heart can open all doors of hope , life and after life
salam (peace)

peace be upon every body
peace..love..forgiveness..happiness
these few words could be a prayer when they come out from the heart and they could be a reason to fight and declare the war when they come from the mouth only
we have to choose and i hope it will be the right choice
