Any ideas or suggestions?

Currently, I'm tryin to set up a project in my home county (Lancs, England, if anyone's interested!) to inform and educate young people about the MDGs.
It came about after my boyfriend attended the World Youth Congress and told me all about the goals. We've both been involved in a lot of community work (although mine was more conflict resolution) but had little knowledge of the MDGs prior to this. We therefore decided that we needed to get the message across to people and tell them that they could do something to better their world.. or at least let them know what is being done to help developing countries.
We're campaigning to local politicians and I'm in the middle of trying to get backing from a couple of organisations, but what I'm asking for is any ideas or suggestions.
We thought that one of the best ways to educate young people on this topic would be through the creative arts, so we're hoping to develop a theatre workshop to provoke discussion and debate, followed by an education pack to be distribu.ed in schools and youth clubs.
What I'm asking for is help with the content? I've a few ideas about what to include, but some help wouldn't go a miss! What do you reckon? You think it's a good idea?
We've got further plans, which can be implemented after this first stage, but it's this iniial informative period that we need to get going with.
Thanks,
Anna xx
