Totally!
Home schooling just shelters you from reality and puts you in a bubble. Then once you have to get out and join the real world, it is quite painful!
Parents tend to do that with the best intentions in mind but it brings out the worst consequences for the child.

usually parents go for home schooling cuz they think it is better for thier child, that the child will get all the care he needs ...
my openion that home schooling doesnt help in building the charecter og the child ! cuz if he`s 24/7 home how could he mix up with people of his own age , have frinds learn hoe to comunicate with others .... cuz you know school isnt just for learning !?! there is a whole life going on betwen those 4 walls

Homeschooling

While I respect your opinions, I think that they are perhaps too generalized. Just because the homeschoolers you have met are sheltered, unsociable, etc. does not mean that all homeschoolers are.
I was homeschooled for several years. I had many friends and truly enjoyed the experience. I had the opportunity to learn about literature, government, foreign cultures, mathematics, sciences, the arts, and so on in ways that public schools simply cannot provide. I also received individual attention.
Academically, I learned to be disciplined (if I was not disciplined, I would not accomplish any work.)
You also seem to assume that homeschooled children NEVER leave their hoems.
I had many friends in my neighborhood, and frequently was outside my home at my dance studio, my karate school, or with friends.
In most cases, parents who homeschool make an extra effort to make sure that their children are well rounded and have many friends and experiences. There are even homeschool groups where homeschooled families meet one, two, or several times a week for their children to interact and learn together.
Of course, there are a few cases like you mentioned. Not all parents make wise decisions for their children. However, to reiterate, I strongly believe that the majority of homeschooled children benefit from the experience.
Of course, I respect your opinions. I would enjoy having further dialogue about this subject.
