A question or two
Why are humans in such a need to solve the mysteries of the universe? Who has given us the right to do so? Does it really matter that we dont know whats out there? When we do find it what will we do with it? Will we be content or want more?
With all the space exploration and mystery solving going on we spend more time and money on the unneccesary instead of the compulsory. Does it not bother anyone that we spend so much on shuttles and space exploration and not enough on education, health care and unemployment?
Does it not bother anyone that although there may be a lot of space in space (talk about a choice of words!) that we still discard of may things in it? (such as the space shuttle fuel tanks and what not.)
Although i have much more to say it will come later. For now i want you to give me your opinion of the following question, issues and come up with a few questions and answers of your own.

how do we explore it?

i think we should. but an important issue we'd have to address here is whether we can explore the great beyond using technology, or whether the only true way to do that is beyond technology. but the same goes for any kind of scientific experiment.. we have to look at it empirically, but also expereince it spiritually.

the point is that in majority of cases as in this exploration issue of outer space, humans, i think, are investing exxageratingly. As in some scientifique experiments scientists tend to forget the reason, the why of their experience and just do the experiment for its own sake, for doing it..
I agree in saying that there are compulsory and morepressing things that need attention whether financially or by human resources and commitements.
But i dont suppose we are the only ones in universe! we are rather very egocentric and "earthcentric" like thinkers of past who thought that earth was the centre of all. Now some think that we are the only ones in universe unless proven otherwise.
there is a science called EXOBIOLOGY which looks at this possibilities and even goes as far as calculating with what probability life exists on other planets, galaxies, stars..
As Jared Diamond correctly raises a question in his famous book "what happens once humans find other lifes?". Thats the qustion scientists are not ready and not think of responding.
A good guess is (alghtou being biased of course) is that it will happen what happens usually when a strong society/nation/species meet weaker ones. Meaning struggle to survive, and not as some cliam a "friendly" relationship and exchange of ideas and eperience. Now if you wonder why, the answer is simple, cause it happened throuout the history amonghuman species, and moreover it happened with other species, on a slightly lower level than humans, with animals, especially with chimpanzees, being our "relatives". Andi m quite sure whatever the outer space "creatures" are similar would happen, maybe after initial friendly relationship! the reason is human nature - grid, egoism and lust for power! Thats what 95% ofhumans are about, among them the ones who make important decisions in governments!

Back to the original topic, mystery is a word being used very often as being an impenetrable secret. In fact, mystery is the experience of the complete perceptual imbibing capacity that gets to be empowered by the bits of wholesome knowledge of life's truth taking root into my neurons activation and into my body's chemical and electrical conditionings.
God's Holiness is His infallible integrity.
The mystery of the Faith is the experience of God's Holiness. The transforming discipline of the Cross(1) gets me and us to be empowered to stand more and more of His revealing science, as His Holiness purifies my integrity into His. ...cleansing our vision of the Crown...(2) is then completed to go on completing its destiny…
