Peace on earth

i wrote this not to to long ago. its just somthin that i thought of. i just kinda let my fingers go and i just typed away. anyway here it is. comment on it please.
A single shot, then a lonely scream, that's it, thats the last that was heard. there was no more noise, nothing made a noise. all was quiet, everything was silent. no arguing, no fighting, nothing but silence. the last war had ended, there was only a few people were left. many people had lost their minds from mangled bodies. the living banded together and lived like their forefathers, in peave and in harmony. everything was as it should be. no countries to fight for, no leaders to follow. total equality. nobody spoke though, for none knew what to say. they were all in tears, no happiness, that ruined the perfection. all was gone, there was no chance of survival, ears rung of gunshots. nobody fought anymore, all armies had died. the rest were hurt, screaming, frightened. eventhought the was was over, nobody smiled, or claimed victory, all had lost, left to live in a wasteland of explosions, fearing that there may still be a mine, or metal to pierce their skin, cut them open, fill them with infection. or something in the shadows, one lonely species left alive. nobody made a noise, only weeping was heard, and screams of agony and pain. they echoed the empty streets, rung off the open water, spread through the unused air, for nothing drowned them out. only more yells and screams were added. no engines, explosions or anything else was left to make noise. through the lands, all suffered this was the ultimate loss. everybody anybody knew and loved was gone and could not be brought back. none thought about what was to become of them, only of the times that had spent, the life they had lived, when all were alive. no world wars. now known as the good old daysm when it was just a few days ago, and to think that one person stated it, and they were one of the first to die. and then, for a few short moments, a writer saw the peace, heard the quiet. for man had died, they had taken the world with them. all living was to afraid to move or make a noise. so he wrote a short letter, hoping there were others who may understand, how the world could be peaceful, and everything can live in harmony, but if it takes a war to do it, then why should we want peace, if people die to keep it, then why do we even try?. the writer was a great man, who could of had whatever he wanted. but now that everything was gone, he realized how lucky he really was. he had everything handed to him, nothing had ever stopped him before. but now, he lived in fear and worry, that his life would last no longer. so he wrote another mesage, saying:
"The wind here is not cold, the water is calm, the sky is clear. I can see as far as the mountains, i can hear anything carred by the wind. i could swim and not have a worry, , the world is so quiet, its in harmony at last. you could swear that you were in heave, but then if you look at the ruins, you'd know that you were on earth. and that the war had just ended. there was no sign of life around you, except maybe the odd strped tree. there were only a few hundred peope left, one is you, another is me. it just seems that we could live in harmony, like God had planned it to be. and alas, i must stop writing. food is my primary need. i hope that i someday may meet you, and that you pass on this note to the first you see."
thats all that he could write, then he wantered a few lonely feet, through the rubble and scrap, then droppped dead from hunger, in a land that lived in harmony. let his spirit live on forever, in this earth, in you and in me, for to know that this man experienced, is a wonder for all to share. for this wonder was brought by death itself. and death is the creator of a truly perfect world.
there it is. all comments are wanted

Wow. I love the craziness of it all. The letting out of angst through a very creative way is awesome. It would help to pay more attention to some grammar and use of words in some places to produce a smoother flow and would get rid of some nuisance. But over all, great!
I agree that most wars we fight for are just not worth it. We could end up having peace, but not the way we want it.
Good work!
