Re: Islam - no reason for terror!

I say a plague on all your houses. Christians, Muslims Jews and any other groups who wish to foist their fairy stories on the innocent minds of children. We are not chosen, we are random life forms clinging to life on the edge of a huge rock hurtling through space that has other rocks with bits of life on them. The trouble is they so far away we will never know them.
We cannot accept this and so we have invented this thing called god and if you follow him, you are the chosen ones until you fall out of favour. Then you go and invent your own god and get some other gullible fools to follow you and so it goes until they get into a turf war for their 'souls'. Finally we end up in this mess of religious fervor that I am sure is very interesting for the poor uneducated fools that follow whichever deity they prefer but for the rest of us it is just a pain in the you know what.
The thing is, it is usually always the women who come off the worse in whatever religion it is.
Hey, lets start the womans religion, that way it may be worth following. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jo Devizes knows a womens website that is rather good.

Your view is very understandable, considering all the "religious" bigotry and hypocrisy in the world. And you are quite correct that most organized religions relegate women to an inferior status.
In fact, Joseph J. Adamson states: "Certain organized religions and religious sects have been invested with power by men, in the interests of men, and for the benefit of men. Thus even today they are patriarchal, and some even believe that God is a male entity. The truth, however, is that God is not a man, nor a son of man, as even Moses wrote. Many following Hebrew prophets corroborated that, and the Christ Jesus confirmed it when he said “at no time has anyone seen God’s shape,” and God “is greater than I.”
That is a quote from Adamson's article titled The Man-Woman Relationship, which you may be interested in.
He's also written an article titled The Book of Wisdom, which is about God's female aspect.

Why we accept something in math from a mathematician? The answer is obvious because she/he is expert so, the Mullahs are expert in the Islam, what we are talking about Islam is not correct, is just something modernized based on our thought! But what Mullahs says is clear vision of Islam. This is not just relates to Islam religion it's been the same for all exist religions.
The problem is we Muslim are prejudice and trying to proof the world that our religion is not protecting violence and this is something they are using against us! What I'm trying to say is: there is something more behind this curtain which provides Imperialist's profit taking advantages of these issues in a form of arising wars.
Let's be realistic and keep our beliefs in our hearts and give the role to the Seculars.

The situation in Islam is quite different: God is neither male nor female, and does not "look" like men; meaning that He does not resemble any of His creatures, and He is neither bounded by time nor space.
I say a plague on all your houses. Christians, Muslims Jews and any other groups who wish to foist their fairy stories on the innocent minds of children.
I respectfully disagree with the term "fairy stories". If also believe that it is a purely personal issue for parents to have the freedom to introduce religion to their own children, as long as this does not harm other people.
We cannot accept this and so we have invented this thing called god and if you follow him, you are the chosen ones until you fall out of favour.
I am extremely offended by your terminology. Please kindly be informed that this website is a podium of multiculturalism, where the spirit of respect towards what others believe in is expected to prevail.
Generalisations again: I'm not so sure that all religious people are poor; for instance, I know ultra-rich people who are very religious, and who are not "fools" at all. As a religious person, I do not term those who are different than me as "fools", by the way.
The thing is, it is usually always the women who come off the worse in whatever religion it is.
I see you're mixing what religions say with what people actually do. It is not a standard rule that all religions marginalise women. Nevertheless, it is to be noted that while some religions came to liberate women in the past, a great deal of the current followers act in total breach of the essence of their religion.
Furthermore, what would be more accurately described as a "plague" is when people indroctrinate their children to disrespect what others believe in, and to term others as "fools".
Regards,
A.
