login on front page

Another request I have is to have the login form on the front page. I think I'm not the only person who deletes all my cookies fairly often. But on the other hand I use autofill/keychain on mac os x so that I can just click "login" to log in. Having that on the front page will save me lots of time.
TIA
Simon

There was something Mike Furdyk said a while ago regarding cookie-less login.
As for the login on the front page, I think its only logical for it to be there, but finding space for everything is a hard task no matter how skilled a designer.
There were big problems with the login script when this place started, so I think its pretty much how it should be.
That said, Im not the one building this site.

Ah, perhaps you mean http://www.takingitglobal.org/discuss/showthread.php?threadid=1043#post4703 ? Found it with the search feature. Nice.
Cookie-less logins is nice, but that's a different issue. Still, definitely good that it works. personally I configured my browser (chimera, the mac os x lite version of mozilla) to accept all cookies but delete all of them every time I quit. So basically I get all the benefits of cookies without the awful tracking business.
It's pretty good for most purposes.
Anyway, that's all an aside.
