Mailing lists

Seems logical that each project should have a mailing list. Like sourceforge or yahoo groups. I'd like to see this happen. Also, mailing list archives.

That's actually something that Mike and I have been working on as a skunkworks project for the past few months [too busy making bigger parts of the site happen, to be able to hammer out the code for groups]. We should be getting those up and running within the next month or two [I hope]!
I agree we do definitely need those!

Cool, sounds good.
It just occurred to me that there might be international language issues with mailing lists; some of them will perhaps need to support non-english languages ... I'm sure you've already thought of that ;-)

I personally send emails in three languages, to mailing lists and individuals. I have found that people have adapted to using the 'standard' latin character set for their own languages' characters with accents. To start with, I shouldn't expect to see the mailing list tools supporting multiple charactersets, although it is possible that it gets enabled at some point.
Good suggestion, though!
