Please pardon my ignorance - can you tell me exactly a Dalit is? Is it a Religious or Ethnic group or both?
I can see plainly that atrocities have been committed on a masive scale - what is more desturbing is how recent this seems to be.
Was the Sundra Hollocaust some time ago - and killing on a smaller scale still occuring?
Does the Indian government acknowledge what is happening?
is there any video footage that might be leaked to the press?
I had not heard of this - the link you provided lists war crimes but does not give much more information as the then How's and Why's - could you please provide some?

Luke, let me tell you few things bro,
You may be aware of the caste issues, which were prevailing in the South Asia for last few centuries, but in the present modern days, the caste discrimination is very less.
This had been prevailing even in Sri Lanka but only among a very few people.
Now South Asian politicians are using names such as DALIT/ DRAVIDA etc and etc to spread hatred against other communities. By this they gain votes in their electorates.
(As you always say, they make a picture of a common enemy to unite people with hate and gain political mileage.)
Say you live in a poor community, and then here the leaders in your community point the blame for your suffering saying “Hey you are treated as low caste (dalits, whatever) and the others are treated as high caste and this is the problem”
Thus the leaders brainwash a certain group of people to hate another group of people due to the social iniquities of the capitalism! But in long term, this policy of dividing people create so much problems.
So I don’t think we can consider “Dalits” claims since he is just another victim of hate propaganda.
So your question is answered, there is no group of people as “dalits” , it’s a creation of blind politicians who want to gain political mileage at the cost of humanity, that’s all.
I have been in India so many times, however I never noticed this issue anywhere.

Dalit why do you attack India constantly? i could do the same with Croatia, but i don't! so please stop this! or if you really have to attack MY country that much, then don't attack it all the time! because whenever i read your posts you attack it! try other topics as well : music,culture,technology....
