The O'Reilly Factor

Ok for an assignment in class I had to watch the O'Reilly Factor and PBS NewsHour and compare the different forms of broadcast. So I pose this question to anyone out there who watches Fox News or some show similar to "The O'Reilly Factor": do you watch this show because you enjoy the conservative, and perhapes bias, form it takes or are you unaware that it is bias? I am not meaning to offend anyone out there. I am just curious about peoples' reasons for watching the news.

I occasionally agree with some of the conservative TV talk shows, but lately I have come to think they do more damage than good because such programs propogate hatred among narrow-minded uneducated people as well as among people who prefer to mindlessly follow their agenda. Now, I watch PBS or CSPAN if I want to know what's really going on. I also watch CNN. The prime time news programs looks for sensational or sexy news; they don't try to provide a balanced perspective, it seems they just want to rile people up... anything to keep the ratings up. *

sadly I think the The O'Reilly Factor is the least conservative show on Fox.... YIKES!
