GENOCIDE in Darfur; how you can help stop it.
April 30, 2005 - 12:00 PM

PLEASE help us stop the GENOCIDE in Darfur, Sudan!!!

http://projects.takingitglobal.org/savedarfur

Even minimal contributions (for example, a letter to your government officials, a letter to the United Nations or a letter to a friend) can raise awareness.

With many voices this horrible crime will not be ignored!

Please please help the victims of Darfur and join the "Save Darfur" project!

Thank you,
Svetlana V. Disko

I support the campaign to save Darfur. To help save human lives in this part of the world.
I hope many other people are doing as much to help put an end to this -- whether it's in terms of awareness, and any other types of contributions.

Do Something!

Everyone on this planet who is aware of the genocide in Dafur, Sudan has the responsibility to bring this horrible crime to light. We cannot afford to have blood on our hands! Remember Rwanda? Indifference is the true evil. If we sit and do nothing we are just as guilty as those who physically commit the attrocities. Remember that when you watch the evening news!

Hey guys

Great to see what you are doing. I am sure you are aware of the current situation, but I have been researching the 33 years of conflict and have presented it as a young persons view on Sudan.

If anyone would like to see this, or I could be of any help! Feel free to reply, or just send me a TIG message

I have some knowledge of the Genocide in Darfur. I have done some research, and it is a shame that the world can not come together to stop something so horrific. No matter what race, religion, or gender nothing like this should happen to anyone. It is just wrong. Everyone has a place on this earth, and we as people should not determine who lives or dies.

I think the crimes in Darfur are the worst of this Decade.

It seems that the situation is calming - but then the Vice-president in the Power sharing agreement had his helicopter mysteriously crash into a mountain - so...

I think the criminals in the government need to be held accountable.

Those in the militias as well.

unfortunately I do not know how to stop these Criminals without warfare - they will not turn themselves in - and any kind of invasion would only increase the suffering.

It is a difficult problem.

So far I can only think to support the African Union in their efforts to stabilize the country.

But we must think, which will cause more suffering a war, or just letting things run they way they are being run now. Yes there is suffering either way, but war can be justified at this point, to stop the suffering. We cant just sit back and watch this and let them try to solve it all. It seems right now that just watching isnt helping at all. We must be nosy at this point and try to help stop this atrocity.

What is the cause of all wars?
December 6, 2005 - 01:30 AM

Well, i have been one of the victims of a bad life and in my helplessness, i have seen the potentials of all those who seem to cause war.

wars are at the moment centered upon egoism and inhumanism.........!

We can stop war if we so wish......let discuss this issue together people.
