In February, MTV launched MTV Africa, which means that now you can get your fix of music videos in pretty much every part of the world...
See their press release: http://www.viacom.com/press.tin?ixPressRelease=80704164.
Have TIG Africa Members seen MTV Africa? What's your thoughts? Is it good?
What role is their for Pan-African TV media in Africa's development & what programs would YOU Like to see?

It's probably bad. When's the last time "M"TV actually played just music videos anyway??? They are just a vehicle for stupid game shows and reality TV now for the most part.

well everything has it's pro's n cons... but i am of the impression that while the youths are being brought to an international level of awareness... we should also be careful and not allow the youth lose their identity...
U see teenagers walkin and dressin like rap stars n all that... u see kids dancin like they in a sean paul video... it scares me...
About the bribin to get ur stuff aired on MTV Africa, i dont know much aba that but i beleive if ur stuff is hot... it'll make a way for itself... the system might be bad but i dont think it's as bad as its being painted...

2 bucks says it'll be geared towards AIDS. Getting it, getting rid of it, having it, doing things to get it, blah blah blah.
I keed I keed.
