hi there. my name is audrey and im from the philippines. i decided the path that i wanna take in life would be something not professional, but a life based on volunteering and stuff. im 16 and im a bout to graduate in high school soon. and i want to have experiences about travelling and giving my time to people before i graduate. Only many of these require high costs. Does anybody know anyone that sponsors volunteer/project trips abroad? Can anyone please help me?
PLEASE!
well i know there are a lot on the database but nothing seems to match my criteria.. its either too pricey.. to young.. or just plainly uneligable..
Please i need someones help..
if someone rich just happens to pass by and read this massage! please share you blessings with me for i can be a blessing for other too.
thank you

Hi Audrey,
You seem very ambitious and that's definitely a great thing, but I have a feeling your hopes might be a little unreasonable. I definitely wouldn't suggest abondoning them, but maybe thinking them through a little more might be a good idea. First of all, you mentioned you don't wawnt to be professional, but you want to be a volunteer your entire life. How will you afford to live if you don't make any money? There are many great jobs that involve helping people and doing the same work that volunteers do, only they are paid positions. They usually don't pay much, but enough to live. If you want to get one of these jobs, you need to learn as much as you can while you study. If you live in the phillipines, there are plenty of local organizations you can get involved with - You speak English well so you can start as a translator if there's nothing else available.
One thing to remember is that if your goal is to help others, then you shouldn't rely on other people helping you. You have to make it clear that you want to give aid, not receive it.
