Well, after the much publiczed Terry Schiavo Case, people have been debating on euthanasia. The act of killing to end suffering of a terminally ill person or an incurable person by lethal injection, or taking away life support. Should we be able to have this right?

I believe we shouldn't have this right because it is simply wrong. IF we kill someone to supposedly end thier "suffering" it is still killing, and that is murder. Furthermore each day, there is a chance for a cure, but if you let them die, you are saying there is no hope for the person, which there is. People will soon believe there lives are worthless..and soon everybody will judge and decide who should be able to die, or to live. I believe euthanansia, is not a right, its an aboliton of all rights.

I don't know. I've sometimes joked with friends that if _______ happens to us, we tell each other to kill us. I guess we sorta ment it. If I turned into a vegetable, I'd want to be killed, but that's only me. Many other people have different beliefs. Some may want to be killed, others not. I think that if the person concerned wants to die because they are suffering alot, they should be allowed to die. I think they should be allowed to decide for themselves if they die or not, if possible that is. SOme are unable to communicate at all. In that case, I think they should be allowed to live in case, as angigurl said, a cure is found.
