Global Dimming

Last night i watched a report on an australian show called 4 corners about global dimming. I must admit what i had heard about this topic was and still is rather limtied, but what i learnt about it was quite interesting.
At present the world is slower getting warmer due to heavy co2 levels in teh atmosphere. however at the same time a process called global dimming was occuring where the heavier pollutants (typically visible pollution) was in the atmosphere sticking to water particles in such numbers that approximately 10% of the sunlight normally reaching the surface was being reflected back into space. this progam also brought to light PAN evapouration rates around the world decreasing through several independant studies.
at present the two forces global warming and dimming were in a state of unbalance with a slightly stronger pull in the globak warming direction. with the elinmination of heavy visible pollutants it is theorised that the global warming would increase at a much faster rate, almost double what is currently predicted. (10 degres celcius over 100 years)
catch 22, stop production of global dimming products and face increased warmth over teh world (melting of greenland ice cap has already started - predicted 7-8m sea level rise, if all of it melts) or continue with production of global dimming pollutants and create a almost unhabitable world due to pollution. does anyone know how much the sea level is predicted to rise if all the ice caps (north and south) melt? i have heard and read in the vicinity of 600 feet or 200m.
even with the an immediate halt to all burning of fossil fuels the affects will still be felt fo a decade. so we are quickly heading for a humid water world or a thick hazy air filled world. which would you prefer?
