Lets be one

It is very sad to see some of our fellow youth mates who have the mental facaulty and the enthusiasm to participate in the events and programmes of this communitybut have stayed indoors. We are all in one community and therefore we must bo one. It isn't that we are introverts but then the means to make it possible for us to also attend these programmes is the quandry and that is why I want to appeal to members of this community and especially the very fortunate ones to put in place structures that will ensure equality in this community. I for one happen to be a victim of the less fortunate oneswho needs some level of assistance . I have been a member of this community for quite a long time but I have not been able to attend any programme. I really want to attend. I do hope that my appeal will receive a favourable consideration.

hi bennonet,
If you are looking to connect with other youth in the TIG online community, may I suggest that you browse around the projects section of our website. There, you can read about projects, join a project, or start your own!
http://projects.takingitglobal.org/home/?np
If you are interested in started your own project or program, why not check out our resources in our ACTION section.
Another way to get involved in the TIG community is to submit your writing to our online magazine, Panorama. We accept articles in Opinions style, Interviews, Poems, and Short Stories. You can comment on other peoples published writings as well. Need more ideas or does that give you a good start?

hi cgudz,
Thanks very much for th reply but what I was trying to say is that, One is capable of joining a project but when it comes to the financial aspect one is unable to pay. For instance YOu are trying to attend a programme but becaus you dont have the money to pay for it you are unable to attend and I was trying to make an appeal to the entire community that those fortunate ones should try and help the less fortunate ones in terms of finance.
I hope you get mo now

Hey, I totally get your point and I've been noticing most people are on the same or similar mindset. However, I don't just think we should support the less fortunate financially, but in other aspects as well. Coming together as one is so important nowadays, based on the type of global issues. If we come together as one (as in the public) we will be the most powerful force in the world. No government, military can stop us from doing what's right. The less fortunate need the basics of life like clean food, water, shelter, health, education etc. The only thing we have to remember is we can do this easily if everyone just cooperates and understands the situation. We do need to be one as the human race now.
