Think of England - I would like your opininions please!

Hi, this is the first time I have posted here and it looks like you all have some strong opinions about lots of things.
So, here goes:
My new project for university is called Think of England. I am really interested in what non-english people think about English people, culture and England itself. (this is just England, not UK, so Scottish and Welsh, Northern Irish I need your opinions too!)
Please be as critical or complimentary as you like (but in a constructive, rather than insulting way!)
So just post away with your opinions and views. How do you see England, as an outsider?
