Dear all,
You are a resident of an Asia-Pacific country.
You are interested in youth issues and other international affairs.
You have passion for volunteerism and creativity.
You want to Make a Difference for other people...
Then join with us in a dynamic journalism group to "Speak up for 2015"!
Does 2015 make any sense to you?
The year 2015, known as the Millennium Year, was unanimously approved in the 2000 Millennium Declaration by Heads of State and Government around the world as a targeted time to achieve 8 Millennium Development Goals, at the same time, to put an end to extreme poverty across the planet.
We are all aware that today's world has the resouces, technology, and know how to accomplish our ambition but we need the firm political will of many world leaders to deliver on their promises and we need the solidarity, involvement and action of citizens all over the world. Launched in October 2002, the Millennium Campaign informs, inspires and encourages people, especially the youth to campaign around the MDGs to Make a Difference and to hold their governments to account for what they promised at the September 2000 Millennium Summit.
And we are...
not indifferent to that global exciting movement. We are building up a broad network of motivated young people in Asia Pacific region who are concerned about the national and regional Millennium Campaign then willing to make contribution to the Campaign in different ways.
"Speak up for 2015", in partnership with TakingITGlobal, the Global Action Youth Network and the United Nations Millennium Campaign, is particularly seeking youth writers, youth journalists and any youth keen on writing from different countries of the Asia-Pacific region to join with our core group. We are also looking for organizations and groups whose activities lie on the same side with us and we do recommend a reciprocal cooperation betwen us!
Be our member!
You will be in a group of young dynamic people from all over the region. You will have chance to raise your voice, to enhance your writing skills, your inter-personal, your inter-cultural understanding and your creativity. You will also have chance to attend different conferences, workshops and you will act as an activist for MDGs more than of a young writer...

dear romi,
i'm an indonesian teenager who cares about world issues and try to help achieve the MDGs.
i'm really interested in your projects and i wanna join you.i like writing and i hope i can be a Millennium Campaign activist by joining you be a journalist.i'm a member of Millennium Campaign as well.
i've started my own project to help achieve the MDGs. perhaps you wanna give me some suggestions or advices(i really need it!)
