Your discussion is quite interesting. I'd like to add that the world we live in is still beyond our understanding. For example, we all know the saying: seeing is believing. But we do not usually keep in mind the idea that the human eye can see only 4% of the so-called light (4% of all the electro-magnetic waves spectrum).
What does it mean?
It means that seeing is the most subjective thing we ever had: if we don't see something, so that doesn't mean the thing is non-existant and vice versa. The light theory of materia supposes that everything consists of energy beams each one having its own wave length and vibration frequency. Both parametres determine the substance structure. Any changes in these parametres influence the substance and the "visibility". An object can exist and still be invisible.
So the school-studied physics admits the possibility of other dimensions. And - what I wanted to say - the possibility of the things we haven't even thought before. It's a metter of science when and how we will be able to see the creatures we thought to be mythical.

mythical creatures!
well in my reagion the known creatures are/were the bazilisk it's a wierd monster hald hen half snake, then "divja jaga" it's a wierd thing i can't explain what it is, it can be heard as loud voices/shouts/screams of pain and horror, then there is the kamniška veronika the half girl half snake, then there are dragons, under-water men, fairies,the golden chamoix, etc. i think it's really interesting!

hey matic,forget the creatures their names are more interesting.'Bazilisk','divja jaga','kamniška veronika ', 'golden chamoix'......wooooo.Now let me tell u something about the half-girl half-lizard(No she is not related to kamniška veronika )of the 21st century.

All i can say is that mythical creatures are just imaginary creatures that people want them to either to exist in this world or to frighten others.But it's very interesting to read about these creatures.
As far magic and miracles are concerned,for me magic is something which the magicians tries to fool u around.Miracles are those that God does.

OH MY gosh! i kinda don't belive this! but u won't belive it, there actually is some connection to Veronika of Kamnik and this case in india, both turned to that imediatly, by doing a forbidden thing! altho i don't think that would ever be possible

I like dragons. Not in the sense that they necessarily exist, but the idea of dragons.
Mythical creatures seem to represent facets of human nature, or in some cases explanations of natural phenomena.
But yeah, dragons are cool.
