I am in need of some good activities that would enhance leadership skills. Does anybody have any good games?

This isn't a big thing - more of an ice breaker type activity.
You get all the members of the group in a circle and get them to all hold out their hands.
Everyone shut's their eyes and then they all put their hands in the middle and hold hands with someone else - the idea being that it creates a tangle of people.
Then they open their eyes and keeping hands joined they need to 'unravel' themselves - i've always found people will take a natural lead on things like this

ok..I know some.hope they help...
divide the group of people into groups ...
each group is a task force
give each group a list of tasks to complete ...
though at a certain point ..each group will need the help of another group to complete one or more tasks..
within each group ..they should decide on a president ...and an ambassador ( to co-operate with the other ambassadors on the common tasks)
its a leadership and cooperation game

lone-wolf your exercise is a good one. I have a different opinion about HODAZZZ idea, wouldn’t it be a better idea not to nominate a leader, I think with time (two or three meetings) I leader will appear within the group, and everyone in the group will recognize that person as the team leader?

yeah...when I said to elect a president ...didnt quite mean that the president is.."the leader" of the group ...I tried this activity with a group of kids of 8 diff nationalities...as you were saying...the leader of the group would aquire the responsibility of preparing for the elections of the president and the ambassador .....etc ..kids who came from very democratic countries were giving their president less power and rights than the ones coming from less democratic countries ...they also began to draft ..a constitution like list of rules ...it was pretty interesting!
