Troops from the US-led force in Iraq have caused widespread damage and severe contamination to the remains of the ancient city of Babylon, according to a damning report released today by the British Museum. American forces damage not olny the archaeology of Iraq, but actually damage the cultural heritage of the whole world.Is there no respect for the culture of these people?!Killing them is not enough?!Do they have to kill their history too?!Our history?!The US has failed to take into account the requirements of the Hague convention ... to protect major archaeological sites - just another convention it seems happy to ignore.

Unfortunately, the US troops in Irap never fail to disappoint us regarding every aspect, not only that of heritage. But as you are speaking of heritage, there's a something that I have noticed about many of the American soldiers. They do not care about history, traditions or civilisation. One of the appeared on the film of Fehrenheit 9/11 saying a song of ugly words though he knew that this was to be aired. Anyway, this big trauma to the world heritage, we all saw how was Baghdad Museum was looted after the fall of Baghdad and the "liberation forces" didn't bother to guard it!
