how about a chat room? TIG messenger is good, but you can't have people just chatting on that. i would like a chat room where people can chat about their ideas to anyone on the chat room.

We had one before and no one used it. We had to buy the software, so after the licence ran out, we got rid of it. Maybe it's time to bring it back? I'd be interested in seeing how many people respond to this.

i would love having a chat room for TIG. i know a few people that run chat rooms and i believe you can have an IRC chat room for free.

Hugh, I remember the old chat room, but as you said no many people used it at that time may be there wasn't that large number of TIG members as now, I think the difference is about 30,000 members.
I think that TIG members now are more related to each other, they know each other and so, so having a chat room will help.
Tasyouth, I don't like IRC chatrooms, evenif they are free, because I think you still have to connect to another server through the website here, and that might not be a reliable thing!
Or what do you think?

Count me in......I don't think i was here when they had one before. I'd def. use it. I am usually at school while on TIG, not allowed to have any form of messenger. And u actually have plans to act this out, most ppl just suggest things and have no way of going along with what they do. Great Idea.

I do not know how such an intiative is not raised by TIG
management if not by the members.
You got my vote on five and let us work together for creating TIG chat rooms, not just a room, but seperate rooms for different groups, activities and interests.

a chat room would be a good idea as it can get ideas and thoughts from oen to another straight away - TIG messenger i have found is a bit sluggish at the best of times.
I'd use a TIG chat room.

it nice was getting on to that link to chat,but men,i was so lonely in the room that i had to log out.how about getting instant messages to members,whenever there are people to chat with.just a thot.........!hey but congrats.to all yo'all already chating,get me there.........

Just wanted to throw my two-cents in. I would use the chatroom. I don't have any chat clients on my work computer (that's where I am online most of the time) and that would be much better than TIG messenger. = )
