Revolt Against Terrible Schools

The school system continues to fall apart, student rights are trampled, individuality is replaced with herd mentality. When a foundation becomes too corrupt to build on, it's time to scrap it and look elsewhere. At RATS (Revolt Against Terrible Schools) we are doing just that. Come and join the revolt!

TIGed

As part of our mission at TakingITGlobal to create the learning environment of the future, we're working on a web-based application called TIGed that will help improve communication between teachers and students in schools.
Although I agree that many problems can be teacher-instigated, and also as a result of old rules and general closed-mindedness, I think that by using technology and improving communication, school can be better.
I love the site. The tips and guides are well thought out and well written!
If anyone's interested in helping to guide and advise us on what we're building with/for TIGed, please e-mail me and let me know! What would you want to be able to do online to make school more fun?
