Your Chance To Help Me Build A Global Issues Website For Young Persons

Hi everyone
I'm in the process of redeveloping and redesigning a youth portal for an overseas development agency. I am on the look out for ideas and suggestions as to the sort of thing you would like to see on a youth website of this kind. Please consider the following:
CONTENT: Are there any global issues that you would particularly like us to promote? (Consider campaigns that are specifically relevant or of interest to young people.)
Do you think that a young persons website should include homework help or not?
Would you be more likely to visit the site if content was created by young people?
PROMOTION: What would make you want to visit the site? Are there any ways you can think of that would help us to promote the site and therefore, global awareness?
STYLE: Do you prefer sites that use lots of visuals?
Do you like interactive sites (Flash etc)?
Do you prefer sites that are bright and fun or ones that have a more serious style?
Please include links to ANY sites that you like and do not like.
COMMUNITY:
Would you be more likely to visit a campaigning site if it had links to other young campaigners?
Do you think forums and message boards are important?
Would you like to read about young people around the world?

i was very impressed with your idea that we shoiuld create more and more website of this type. coz' youth nowadays dont recognise their potential...which are inherent...

Thanks... I think people are starting to realise the impact that web can have on involving young people in global issues and campaigns.. TIG is a great example! Looking forward to your response.
