"Dead baby (from still born or abortion) is (was?) sold by the hospital for $50-$70 in Taiwan. It's related to the increase of market demand. It's used to increase the sex performance."
this news i received in powerpoint file.
this is a shocking news to me. if there are no picture to prove it i won't believe this things is indeed happen.
for the taiwanese, is this news really true?
If it's true then why nobody in your country prevent it?

What do they do with the baby? I didn't quite get it. Sounded to me that they sell the baby and other people eat it to increase their sexual enhancement. no way man. i think i got you wrong. if i'm wrong, which i probably am, could you please describe it better, for me? Xie xie

to zarinmaani you can see the image i posted (event though the image doesn't show in my IE),it is clearly show you the 'canned food' sold in market, the process to serve deqad baby food (from washing it clean, cuts it to pieces, slice the brain, cook it, and the last picture is how the man eats it). it is (was?) true! the dead baby being sold as food (canned or fried/barbequed).
yeah i heard about that, and if you read about the 108 chinese heroes legend ('water edge', in chinese if i'm not mistaken : ?shih nai an? or ?shih ai nan?), the story about human meat put inside the bun. there are more cannibalism happened in the world. like the cannibal tribe in africa (i don't know if they still do that), dayak tribe in my country (collecting skulls), sumanto (convicted) in my country(a person who eats human meat to increase his 'voodo' skill). and more if you search in internet.

Throughout western history, there have been rumors/reports/urban legends about cannibalism/ baby consumption in the orient.
These stories increase when we are at war with asian nations (ie WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam Conflict) and need to dehumanize and villify our enemy.
With the advent of the internet, these stories abound once more. It is significant to note that they never come from reputable or verifiable sources and that they often come with gruesome pictures which are obviously fake/ photoshopped.

It is also significant to note that in Hitler's pre-WWII propaganda campaign against the jews, cannibalism and baby-eating was one of the main charges he leveled against them. During the Inquisition by the catholic church during the middle ages, many of the innocent women who were tortured and burned for witchcraft were also accused of stealing and eating babies, and of using the rendered fat of babies in their diabolical ceremonies.
Basically, the killing and consumption of babies is one of the worst and most gruesome and inhuman acts that we are able to imagine. To level this charge against another person (or group, or culture) is to create instant fear, hatred, and revulsion against the person or culture who is supposedly committing this vile act.
No, I don't believe that anyone in any culture routinely eats babies or fetuses. I believe it is a malicious rumor designed to create animosity and hostility between the west and the east.
I also believe that, as the U.S. prepares to launch an attack on North Korea, it is a rumor with a deliberate purpose. And that purpose is to stir up racial hatred against asians in the hearts of U.S. citizens so that they will fully support Bush's assault against Korea when the time comes.

your tread answer most of my question, it is hard to believe people become so easy to eat one of their own other than to survive.
but the site it self cannot really discard the possibility of this kind of thing still happen around the world.

i know placenta was used by Chinese herbalist for thousand of years… dead babies… dunno… but I always hear every kind of horrible stories like this from China or Taiwan
